Our Story
It started with a simple question: why buy a $15,000 jet ski you only use five times a year?
Between the purchase price, insurance, storage fees, maintenance, and trailer costs, most powersports vehicles sit idle for 95% of their lives. That is a terrible deal for buyers, and it locks millions of people out of experiences they would love.
At the same time, owners who have already made the investment are watching their toys collect dust in garages and storage lots across the Valley. Their jet skis, pontoons, UTVs, and dirt bikes could be out creating memories for other families instead of depreciating in silence.
ThrottleShare was founded to fix that mismatch. We built a marketplace where owners can list their powersports vehicles and earn money from them, while renters get access to incredible outdoor experiences at a fraction of the cost of ownership.
We launched right here in Phoenix and Scottsdale, Arizona, because there is no better place on earth for year-round powersports. Between Lake Pleasant, Saguaro Lake, the Tonto National Forest trail system, and the vast Sonoran Desert, the greater Phoenix metro has endless terrain for every kind of adventure.
Our Mission
Democratize outdoor adventure. We believe everyone deserves the thrill of tearing across open water on a jet ski, crawling through desert trails on a UTV, or spending a lazy afternoon on a pontoon boat with family, regardless of whether they can afford to own the vehicle.
How It Works
For Renters

- 2. Pick your dates and send a booking request to the owner.
- 3. Once approved, pay securely through ThrottleShare.
- 4. Meet the owner, pick up the vehicle, and ride.
- 5. Return the vehicle and leave a review.
For Owners
- 1. Create an account and verify your identity.
- 2. List your vehicle with photos, description, and pricing.
- 3. Set your own availability calendar and rules.
- 4. Review and approve booking requests from renters.
- 5. Earn money while your vehicle works for you.
