About ThrottleShare
ThrottleShare is a peer-to-peer powersports rental marketplace headquartered in Bloomington, Illinois. We connect owners of jet skis, boats, ATVs, UTVs, dirt bikes, snowmobiles, golf carts, and other powersports vehicles with renters looking for short-term access to outdoor adventures.
Unlike traditional rental companies — and unlike Turo or Outdoorsy — ThrottleShare charges zero host fees. Owners list for free and collect 100% of the rental price they set. Renters pay a 10% service fee on top of the listing price. That fee structure is the most owner-friendly in the industry.
The company was founded on a simple thesis: the average powersports vehicle sits idle 95% of its life while its owner pays for storage, insurance, and maintenance. ThrottleShare converts that stranded asset into recurring income for the owner and accessible adventure for the renter.
ThrottleShare is available on the App Store and Google Play. The web platform serves listings across the United States.
