Owners list free. Renters book local rides.

The math on fees

ThrottleShare pays owners
more.

Every other powersports marketplace takes a cut from the owner's listed price. We don't. Here's exactly how that changes the number that lands in your bank account.

Same rental, different platforms

You list a pontoon at $200/day. Someone rents it for 2 nights.

Fee estimates based on public fee schedules at each competitor's site as of 2026. Actual totals vary by listing, category, insurance bundling, and renter-side fees.

Here's how.

0%
Owner fee. Zero. Always.

List at $200. You get $200. We never touch your listed price. The number you set is the number that lands in your bank account after the rental clears.

15%
Renter service fee, flat.

Renters pay a clearly-labeled 15% service fee on top of your price. No hidden add-ons, no bundled "insurance markup," no young-driver surcharge. This is where we make our money — not from the owner's side.

100%
Of your listed price.

Cleaning fee yours. Delivery fee yours. Deposit terms are yours to set and manage; ThrottleShare does not include or hold the deposit at checkout. Your listed rental price is paid through Stripe after an accepted booking clears.

$0
To list. Forever.

No subscription. No listing fee. No "featured placement" requirement. List your jet ski, UTV, ATV, or boat in 3 minutes and you're live.

Booking payment timing: the renter authorizes a card before the owner decides. ThrottleShare captures that authorization only after the owner accepts. A decline or pre-acceptance cancellation releases the uncaptured authorization; card-issuer timing determines when the pending amount disappears.

Why we can afford 0%.

We focus on marketplace tools.

ThrottleShare provides discovery, booking records, payments, messaging, waivers, and handoff documentation. Independent owners set their own requirements and remain responsible for their vehicles and rental activity. Our job is to help qualified renters and owners complete a clear transaction.

We automate.

Payouts, waivers, disputes, messaging — all run on a platform we built, not a 50-person support team. Lower operating cost means lower fees.

We win on volume, not margin.

15% of a lot of bookings beats 35% of fewer bookings. Giving owners 100% of their price means more owners, more listings, more volume — which makes the 15% sustainable.

Keep what you earn.

List in 3 minutes. No subscription. No setup fee. No surprise cut at payout.
