Checklist
- Florida Statute 316.212 generally prohibits golf cart operation on public roads except where allowed by statute or local designation.
- Florida low-speed vehicle guidance treats LSVs differently from standard golf carts; LSVs generally require title, registration, insurance, safety equipment, and a licensed driver.
- The Villages and other communities may have local trail, road, guest, and rental rules in addition to state law.
